SS 2013 Men| COMMON: Wilderness

Una laurea al London College of Fashion e alla Central Saint Martins, alcune collaborazioni con Kanye West e Wooyoungmi e il sogno di creare un proprio brand. Questa è la storia di Saif Bakir ed Emma Hedlund, talenti creativi di Common, fondato ed interamente prodotto in Svezia nel 2012.
La filosofia del marchio risiede nella ricerca di un'eleganza moderna, dando rilievo a quell'attitudine da bad boy e indagando il lato selvaggio degli uomini.
Colori vivaci e tagli sartoriali, protagonisti della collezione autunno-inverno 2012, hanno reso l'esordio della linea maschile con base a Malmoe brillante. Questo debutto vincente ha spinto i designers di Common a riprendere per la stagione estiva 2013 i capi iniziali, ispirati agli anni '40, come le giacche senza collo in blu denim, le camicie stampate e i trench in seta.
Inoltre Bakir e Hedlund hanno puntato sul talento di Hans Krondahl, uno dei più acclamati designer svedesi di tessuti, che ha sviluppato la stampa "galoppo".

Graduated from London College of Fashion and Saint Martins, some fashion collaborations with Wooyoungmi and Kanye West and the dream to create the own brand. This is the story of Saif Bakir  and Emma Hedlund, designers of Common, Swedish fashion label based in Malmoe in 2012.
Bakir and Hedlund introduced their brand when they showed the fall-winter 2012 collection, that includes 40's inspired clothes such as collarless oversized jackets, printed shirts and silk trench coats.
The debut was successful and because of this, the creative talents decided to take and develop the previous works for the spring-summer 2013 collection.
In addition, Common designers decided to recruite Hans Krondahl, one of the most influential Swedish textile designers. He developed the Gallop print, inspired by the masterpieces of Giacomo Balla and Eadweard Muybridge.
The philosophy of the fashion male label is related to the research of modern elegant modernity mixed with a "bad boy" attitude and men’s inner wilderness.
